DSM – Distributed Systems Manager

The Distributed Systems Manager works on all visible nodes to track the state of the system, monitor the health of system components, and clean up in the event of component termination or failure.
The bulk of the DSM work is performed on the Windows host using NTX calls.
 
Establish sponsor and dependent processes, in both Windows and RT.
Establish Windows hosts and RT clients.
Establish Windows processes and RT resources
Track these relationships.
Notify when a process terminates or fails.
Notify when the RT client or Windows host terminates, fails, or sleeps.
Cleans up resources owned by a Windows process.
