Free Spinning Threads
The “Spin Doctor” was intended as a safeguard when using INtime shared mode so that Windows would not freeze because of an spinning thread in INtime. “Spin Doctor” writes a fault record to the HW_FAULT_MBX so it can act like a real fault, even though it is not. The spinning thread is suspended just before the record is written.
The “Spin Doctor” is subject to some rare false positives when INtime is running in dedicated mode and is not intended for a production environment.
