License Protection

The license (both for SDK and Runtime) can be associated with a USB/CID key or a hardware “fingerprint”.
  • In case of the SDK, this is the preferred option for small, agile development teams where the developers do not work 100% of their time on INtime: every developer installs the SDK and a matching license file. The USB/CID key is moved to the active PC for development.
  • Larger development teams (>6 developers) can use a network license server that dynamically hands out SDK licenses.

USB/CID keys can be used for runtime licenses, or the license can be locked to the host that runs INtime nodes. The locking is done via a hardware “fingerprint” of the host.
