Network stack drivers

Broadcom is not recommended.
For RealTek NICs, even if the DeviceId is listed, it still may not work. There are variety of RealTek models which share the same DeviceId. The rtl1g driver needs to read NIC's internal register (which is not visible in PCI Configuration Space) to tell the exact model. The rtl1g driver displays a warning message if the device model is unknown when debug tracing is enabled.
