Why another API?

Programmers who are familiar with mutexes and events may find it needless to convert their thinking (and perhaps existing sources) to INtime mailboxes and semaphores. Iwin32 offers them a choice: stick with mutexes and events or convert to the ‘classical’ INtime API.

Although the functionality offered by the two APIs is not the same, both are complete sets by themselves.

There is no performance penalty for either API.

The development tools (Visual Studio projects, help system, debugger; Spider; INtime Explorer) all support both APIs.
