18. Debugging Tools
Simple real-time programs may be tested using printf calls, but more complex programs require dedicated debugging tools. In this chapter we will discuss the debuggers provided with INtime.
Other debugging tools are explained in chapter “Diagnostics and Integration”, specifically
- Support for the cross-development environment Windows à real-time applications
- Event logging during execution of the real-time application
- Timing analysis and object inspection
