INtime host – Hardware Requirements

An INtime host requires a standard x86 (32-bit or 64-bit) PC compatible host. The BIOS/UEFI of this PC needs to be able to run Windows.
INtime is a headless OS. It needs significantly less processor power compared to Windows. However, real-time applications put high demand on the platform, specifically in terms of jitter for response to external interrupts.
Use INtime’s Platform evaluation and Graphical Jitter tools (discussed in other parts of the training) to assess the PC you intend to use.
