To develop INtime real-time applications, use Visual Studio with either (native) C or C++ as the programming language. Currently version 2012, 2013, 2015 , 2017, and 2022 are actively supported. Older versions back to Visual Studio 6 are known to work. We will refer to these compilers as “Visual Studio".

The Knowledge Base has a matrix of supported versions (http://www.tenasys.com/index.php/support-home/knowledge-base?page=82&book=10) for INtime and Visual Studio.

INtime Project wizards for applications, shared and static libraries are integrated into Visual Studio.

The Visual Studio debugger is fully supported for INtime. But there are also additional debuggers that go beyond what can be done with Visual Studio: Spider debugger and SDM (System Debug Monitor). All the debuggers are covered in the chapter: “Debugging Tools”.
